Helicopters at Wings & Wheels 2010 

 

We have long lamented the lack of enthusiasm shown by helicopter pilots in displaying their incredible machines at Wings & Wheels.  For this reason we are absolutely delighted to welcome the AHA to North Weald in 2010.  Here is a short statement from the AHA, describing what you can expect from their superb displays this year.

 

    

 

 

"The Association of Helicopter Aerosports (AHA) is very pleased to have been invited to attend this year’s Wings and Wheels model show. As an association we not only represent pilots from all areas of model helicopter flying including Scale, F3N, F3C and 3D, we also attend model shows like Wings & Wheels to promote the sometimes addictive and exciting sport of model helicopter flying.

 

 

 

 

We will be flying in two slots each day at the show so please keep an eye open for us. Our flying display will feature some superbly built and detailed Scale models, F3C helicopters that will be demonstrating some precision hovering and aerobatics and finally the explosive and ever popular 3D machines.

 

 

 

We have a stand in the trade area of this show where we will be on hand to give helpful advice and guidance. On the stand we will also have a static display of some different types of model helicopter from various manufacturers that are available in the marketplace. While you’re there why not buy a ticket and enter our prize draw with the chance to win some excellent prizes.

We always have a considerable number of telephone calls just before the show each year asking us about weather and road conditions. For your convenience we are pleased to offer links to the UK Met.
